July 30th: Field Trip to Tayco

FIELD TRIP!!! The JQRC Field Trip is scheduled for July 30th at Tayco Screen Printing & Embroidery located at 117 S. Nevada Ave. You must sign-in at Tayco’s to receive run credit. “The Local” Food Truck will be onsite offering locally sourced, organic and delicious meals!! July 9: Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade, IREM 5k, Hoka

73rd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade is downtown on Tuesday, July 9th. We are still running downtown at Jack Quinn's but the parade will impact our run due to parking and our ability to run across Tejon.

Half on the Fourth

My 4th of July started at about 4:30 am for a race start at 7:00. I wanted to get there early to snag a good parking spot and allow plenty of time to get our numbers. This race started and ended in Monument Valley Park. Unlike most races, it traveled south of downtown towards Fountain then doubled back.
